In 2018 Gathering of the Eagles partnered with Oregon Liberty Coalition’s Rally Around the Flag to bring about the STAND YOUR GROUND rallies in memory of Ames Curtright, who started Gathering of the Eagles in Oregon. STAND YOUR GROUND was what Ames stood for based on one of his favorite Bible verses:

“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to STAND YOUR GROUND, and after you have done everything, to stand.” Ephesians 6:13 NIV
